About the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center
Since opening in 2000, the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center (GBPAC) has become a Cedar Valley institution and regional leader in the arts, creating best practices in performing arts education, marketing and event management that have been implemented across the nation.
UNI is embarking on a $14.9 million renovation and expansion of the GBPAC to improve the patron experience, increase flexible event space and heighten the standard of amenities offered to the center’s growing patron base. The capital improvements will result in approximately 13,000 square feet of new and renovated space in the 125,000 square-foot facility and will include: the replacement and improvement of Great Hall seating; a new multipurpose event space; improved restrooms; a new patron lounge and modernized box office and service counters; an additional drive lane for dropoff; and heightened patron amenities.
Your generous investment will help enhance one of the Cedar Valley's key cultural assets so we can continue to provide world-class performing arts for the state of Iowa.
