Student Emergency Fund

The Student Emergency Fund offers limited financial assistance to UNI students dealing with unexpected emergencies such as accidents, illness, the death of a family member, fire damage, or the need for temporary housing. These funds help cover essential expenses like temporary housing, safety needs, replacement of essential belongings, and travel costs for family emergencies. Priority is given to students whose academic progress is at risk due to these challenges.

In the past four years, over 300 students have received more than $90,000 from the fund, allowing them to focus on their studies without the burden of unexpected financial setbacks.

Your donation to the Student Emergency Fund ensures that UNI students can navigate sudden hardships and continue their education without disruption. Every contribution helps keep students on track toward graduation.
