About the Swim & Dive Elite Competition Fund ๐ŸŠ

Olivia Chambers will be the first UNI swimmer in school history to participate as a representative of the United States for the Paralympic Games. The rising senior and Little Rock, Arkansas, native is one of 21 women and 33 total athletes selected to compete in the 2024 Paris Games. The 17th edition of the Summer Paralympic Games is scheduled to run August 28 through September 8 in the French capital, with swimming events to be held at the Paris La Defense Arena, August 29 through September 7.

This summer, the Swim & Dive Elite Competition Fund supported Olivia competing at the U.S. Paralympic Team Trials in Minneapolis, where she qualified to represent her country. Thanks to the many generous contributions over the previous year, her goal of wearing the American flag on her swim cap became a reality.

The Swim & Dive Elite Competition provides funding to support swimming and diving athletes that qualify for elite level competitions that are above and beyond the traditional collegiate schedule. The goal of the fund is to encourage athletes to continue seeking higher levels of competition than before and ensure that they will always be supported when qualifying for elite competitions. In addition to Paralympic Trials, the fund supported athletes competing at the Speedo Champions Series and the Toyota U.S. Open Championships this year.

Celebrate Olivia with a gift of $20.24 to support the Swim & Dive Elite Competition Fund.
