The UNI Orchesis Dance Company is a pre-professional dance company and student organization that trains dancers in various academic modern dance techniques. They perform many styles of dance such as modern, jazz, tap, contemporary and more. Many opportunities are available to students beyond dance training and performance including choreographing artistic works, collaborative outside performances with other artists and student leadership positions.🌟
Orchesis participates in three performances each year, including their Fall Show, UNI Varsity Men’s Glee Club Christmas Variety Show, and their Annual Gala. In April 2026, Orchesis alumni will come together to celebrate the artistry, opportunities and long-lasting relationships created over the past 100 years during the centennial celebration. There will be a reception following the Annual Gala, dancing together and reminiscing on their time in the company.💃
