Tomorrow’s finance and real estate leaders are being developed at UNI today — and they need access to the tools and technology that power real-world decisions. The UNI Department of Finance is building an analytics lab that will house the necessary data and technology to prepare students for life after graduation while simulating a professional space.
Space in the Curris Business Building will be transformed into a modern analytics lab equipped with 12 high-performance computers and industry-standard software platforms such as Eikon, CoStar and Argus — tools that are essential for analyzing financial markets, evaluating real estate investments and making data-driven business decisions.
We are seeking $50,000 to enhance the technology and data infrastructure that will power this space. Your contribution will help us fully realize the vision of a professional-grade analytics room that not only supports academic excellence but also simulates the look and feel of a corporate finance department. Features will include:
- 12 computer workstations with dual monitors and high-speed processing
- Eikon for real-time stock and trading analysis
- CoStar for comprehensive real estate market research
- Argus for modeling and analyzing real estate transactions
- One ticker tape display and collaborative seating to replicate a real-world finance environment
This space will serve as a hub for hands-on learning, student-led investment clubs, research projects and industry engagement.
